Lilah

SSPA’s Dog’s Day Out program makes a difference in the lives of companion animals by ensuring they get plenty of exercise, attention, and exposure to environments outside of the shelter, all while putting smiles on the faces of the people who share this experience with them. • Animal ID#: A784649
  • Dog Name: Lilah
  • Dog Sex: Female
  • Approximate Age: 3 years
  • Here’s what a volunteer had to say after a fun Dog’s Day Out with Lilah:
Lilah enjoyed a 5.5 mile walk along the bike trail. She dipped her feet in the river. Lilah was great on the leash and she wasn’t reactive when seeing other dogs or bikes.
  • And another one:
We love Lilah so much! She was a little timid first meeting us, but it didn’t take her long to come out of her shell! We took Lilah to get a puppacino and then we adventured in two hiking spots. She is very obedient and was quick to sit for a treat! Lilah is extremely good on a leash and was not reactive to her surroundings. She enjoys staying by your side and recieving love. We love this sweet girl!

The dogs are keeping us busy so we’re a little behind, please submit an application to our adoption counseling team for more information about Lilah.

Meeting Dogs at the Shelter

The shelter’s kennels are loud, stressful places for dogs. Some dogs express that stress by exhibiting behavior inside a kennel that they will not show otherwise. Please ask to take the dog you are interested into a play yard and spend some time getting to know him or her in that more relaxed environment. For more information on meeting dogs at the shelter, please read this article.
